Lyabedzka calls to boycott fake elections

UCP leader Anatol Lyabedzka refuses to take part in any elections if there are no radical changes in the Belarusian electoral legislation.

“We must change the rules of holding elections. Why take part in the event that separates you from family, makes your mother cry and paralyzes activity of political institutions?” the UCP leader, released yesterday from the KGB jail on his own recognizance, wonders, Interfax-Zapad reports.

“I do not see sense of taking part in elections if there are no changes,” he emphasized.
