Status of People's Assembly Upgraded

The Council of the Socialist International has raised the status of the Belarusian Social Democratic Party "People’s Assembly" to a full membership.

Mikalai Statkevich, Head of the party, informed charter97.org. He is at the forum of international organization in Luanda.

Decision on status upgrade was taken by the Council of the Socialist International. Earlier, the Belarusian Social Democratic Party "People’s Assembly" had the status of "consultation member" in the organization.
