Russia promises 24 mln tonnes of oil to Belarus in 2016

Russia is to supply to Belarus 24 mln tonnes of oil in 2016 as compared to 23 mln tons in 2015.

It was stated by Vice Prime Minister Uladzimir Syamashaka, who is to participate in the session of the council of Belneftekhim concern in Mozyr on Friday, BelTA reports.

“The balance sheet with Russia has been has been coordinated. We… signed the relevant protocol under which the oil deliveries will be increased by 1 million tonne next year. Thus, we have 23 million tonnes this year and will have 24 million tonnes next year,” he said.

As said by Vice Prime Minister, the countries have agreed that in 2016 all oil will be delivered to Belarus via pipelines next year. “It is profitable for us,” he stressed.

Speaking about deliveries of Belarusian petrol to Russia, Syamashka said that in 2016 the country is going to deliver to Russia 1 million tonnes, while in 2015 1.8 million tonnes were delivered.
