Why Authorities Hiding Place Where Vasileuskaya Studied?

Journalists managed to get to the truth.

The authorities are carefully hiding where cosmonaut Maryna Vasileuskaya studied.

However, "Zerkalo"managed to find the order on enrolment of students of correspondence courses for 2012, signed by the rector of MIU Mikalai Susha on August 6 of the same year.

Maryna Vasileuskaya is listed under the number 18 in the speciality "management (information)" of the Economics Faculty. The Ministry of Education claims that upon graduation from such a speciality graduates received the qualification "manager-economist". That's what Vasileuskaya said when answering the question of the BSU student.

We don't know whether the cosmonaut graduated from the university - we haven't managed to find any documents in this regard. We also note that Vasileuskaya graduated from school in 2008. It is not known whether she received education somewhere else before 2012.

Why Authorities Hide Where Vasileuskaya Studied?

One can assume that the image of a part-time MIU student does not fit with the authorities' ideas about a person worthy of the title of Hero of Belarus. And also because the authorities have broken their own rules.

Minsk Innovation University was one of the first private universities in our country. It began its work in 1991. Even before the events of 2020, this educational institution became famous as a protest institution - in 2019 there was a strike of students who opposed the non-renewal of accreditation of their university.

However, in March 2020, MIU managed to get the necessary documents, but the university had to close some specialities. In April 2022, MIU students received a message about the need to transfer to other educational institutions "in connection with the planned cessation of educational activities in 2024".
