Today, May 6, the VChK-OGPU Telegram channel, associated with Russian security forces, reported that, most likely, Yuri lost his temper after the injury his mother received during another shelling of Kharkiv by the Russians.

The source reports that Galushko signed the contract for the sole purpose of earning money for his eye surgery. He was half blind.

The occupiers in the “DPR” managed to interrogate Galushko’s only relative — his ex-wife Natalya. She lives in the Belgorod region. The woman admitted that her ex-husband was born in Kharkiv, his father is a veteran of World War II. The father died in 2011. Only in 2013, Galushko married Natalya and moved to her permanent residence in the Belgorod region. He served in the ranks of the Soviet army in the Urals. Then he worked as a security guard at the Mostovye metal structures plant.

Natalya described Yuri as a very calm and non-aggressive person. He loved to read both classics and science fiction. He had no chronic diseases. The last time they saw each other was in November 2023, when Galushko came to visit his son.

At that time, Yuri only complained about his eyesight and stated that the surgery required a lot of money, so he signed a contract with the Russian Defense Ministry and went to war. Galushko’s mother is still living in Kharkiv. He asked her more than once to move to the Russian Federation, but she refused to leave her hometown.

During the last shelling of the city, his mother ran for shelter, but fell and broke her arm. She also suffered a stroke against this background. Now his mother is in very serious condition.
