Activists of the “Young Front” and the civil campaign “European Belarus” held an action of solidarity with the arrested activist of “European Belarus”, who has been in the detention facility for more than a month.

Young people, holding portraits of Alyaksandr Barazenka, formed a human chain.

Barazenka is involved in the Process of 14. 13 young people were punished for participation in street protest actions. They got different terms of restraint of liberty, and Andrei Kim and Syarhei Parsyukevich were sentenced to 2 years in a penal colony. The latter were released in August by a special decree of Lukashenka. Barazenka didn’t have a trial because he studied in Poland and was taking exams. Having returned to Belarus, Alyaksandr went to an investigator and was arrested. The activist of the civil campaign “European Belarus” is to have trial at the end of December.
