'If Lukashenka Comes Out To People, He Will Be Torn To Shreds'

The oppositionist outlines the dictator's main fear.

Belarusian opposition politician, head of the Razam solidarity movement, Viachaslau Siuchyk, has expressed the opinion on air of the Belsat TV channel that Lukashenka's biggest fear is the Belarusian people:

"Lukashenka is afraid of the Belarusian people. And here he's not wrong. I don't know a city in Belarus, where he wouldn't be torn to pieces if he came out to the people. This was also the case before 2020.

And after 2020, when tens of thousands of Belarusians were beaten up, when we have about 15 thousand political prisoners, you can imagine the scale of the catastrophe in which the Belarusian people found themselves.

Therefore, Lukashenka should be afraid of the Belarusian people. And the Belarusian people should stop living in other people's schemes and hoping for "kind guys" who have never existed in the history of our people. Belarusians themselves are the guarantors of independence of Belarus. As long as we are Belarusians, there is nothing Moscow can do.
