As of 8am, April 15, the water level in the Tobol River near the Russian city of Kurgan rose to 631 cm, ASTRA writes.

Yesterday it reached 491 cm, during the day the water rose by 140 cm. Only in the last two hours the water level is more than 10 cm. Evacuation is carried out in Kurgan. Earlier, the governor of the Kurgan region of the Russian Federation Vadim Shumkov said that when the water level reaches 6 meters, the flooding of the right-bank part of Tobol River and the low part of the left bank will begin.

In Tomsk, the water level in the Tom River increased by almost a meter per day. Yesterday, there began to erode the embankment dam at the Communal Bridge. According to the forecast of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the water level in the Tom River in Tomsk may exceed the dangerous mark on April 15-17.

In Orenburg, the water level decreased by 18 cm per day. 8 am – the water level in the river was 1,169 cm, the hydrometeorological center reported. 10,656 household plots and 5503 households, including 55 apartment buildings are flooded in the city.
