Recruitment campaign took place in Kiev.

Yesterday in Kiev at Sophia Square volunteers of the battalion of Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) took the oath and went to the front line to Peski near Donetsk, the correspondent of New Region reports.

"Today 20 fighters leave for Peski and five others will take the oath and stay here for training. A few more people will take the oath and will assist in the rear", Nikolai Kokhavinsky, Commander of the volunteer battalion of the OUN, said.

It should be noted that there are Belarusians among the volunteers; they leave for the front line to defend Ukraine.

"My mother is from Lvov region, Ukraine. My family - wife and a child, are in Lvov region. I am going there because the Belarusians and the Ukrainians are fraternal nations. We fought together at the battle near the Blue waters, in the Battle of Grunwald," the volunteer with a call sign of Siabra told.

In his turn the fighter with a call sign Nemets said that separatists continued shelling of Ukrainian military positions in Peski, but "we do not react on this, implementing the Minsk agreements".
